Everyday Winter Makeup
Eyes
On my eyes i love to wear a very small, subtle amount of colour on my lid and crease and i love to switch up the colours which I am using.
As a base i use MAC Paintpot in Barestudy and I then use a combination of colours from my Naked 3 palette. If i am going for a very basic look I will use a combination of Strange, Limit and Nooner which gives a very subtle yet defined look.
On days when i want a darker, more vampy look which i have been wearing a lot, I apply Liar all over my lid and apply Factory in my crease.
I use the Naked 3 brush which came with the palette to apply the eyeshadows and then use a large fluffy brush or Deluxe Crease Brush by Real Techniques to blend.
I apply winged eyeliner almost every day as i love the way it looks. I recently purchased Soap and Glory's Supercat Liquid Black Eyeliner Pen and it has made it easy to achieve perfect eyeliner everytime, in half the time of any other eyeliner i have used.
After curling my eyelashes i apply a few coats of Bourjois Volume Glamour Max mascara which seperates my lashes and makes them look very full and long.
On my eyebrows i use a small angled brush with Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Permanent Taupe which gives my eyebrows a defined and natural look.
Skin
I love the look of natural, dewy and glowing skin, especially throughout the colder months.To prime my skin I use Benefit That Gal primer, which brightens my skin and keeps my makeup in place throughout the day.
I use Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel foundation all over my face using my Expert Face brush by Real Techniques which gives a light to medium coverage and still allows my skin to look natural.
For concealer i mainly use Rimmel Wake Me Up which gives a light coverage and brightens my skin at the same time, but for when i need slightly more coverage I use MAC Studio Finish Concealer.
To highlight i use Benefit High Beam which gives me a natural glow. To contour I apply Bourjois Bronzing BB Cream with my Real Techniques Stippling Brush which gives a beautiful and natural finish, and for days when i want a stronger contour i will also use Benefit Hoola Bronzer which i apply with my Real Techniques Contour Brush.
For blush I use Sleek Blush by 3 in Pink Lemonade which has 2 powder blushes and one cream. My favourite colour to use is Icing Sugar which is a shimmery, dusky pink shade, which I usually apply using my Real Techniques Contour Brush.
To set my makeup i use Rimmel Stay Matte Powder with my Real Techniques Buffing Brush, and then apply Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray.
Lips
I love to switch between different lip products every day, and during the winter months I especially love to wear nudes and darker shades.
My current favourite is MAC Velvet Teddy. It is a Matte finish and i love to wear it on its own or paired with Rimmel Lasting Finish in Asia.
For darker shades I love Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Va Va Violet, which is a very dark purple.
Another lipstick which i love to wear in the colder months is Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in the shade Sultry which is a nude berry shade.
